Nebraska became home when my husband and I moved here for his career with Hormel, and we’ve loved raising our family in Fremont. Over the years, I’ve been blessed with lasting friendships, wonderful clients, and a strong sense of community.

Real estate has been my passion for many years. I bring energy, dedication, and knowledge to every transaction, striving to make the process smooth and enjoyable. Whether buying or selling, I’m here to help clients navigate the journey with confidence.

I’ve also been active in the Fremont community, serving with First Lutheran Church, John C. Fremont Days, the Fremont Area Chamber, and as past president of the Fremont Board of REALTORS®. I currently serve on the Salvation Army board. Outside of work, I enjoy bridge with friends, cheering on the Huskers, and traveling with my husband, family, and friends.

Believing in the Future

I grew up on a dairy farm just north of Fremont, where I learned the value of hard work and community. After graduating from Bergan High School, I studied at Midland Lutheran College in town. My wife, Marla, and I have raised three children, now married with families of their own, and we love spending time with our eight grandchildren—at games, school events, or just together.

I’m an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Rotary Club, enjoying ways to give back and connect with our community. I work with all types of real estate, including auctions, and take pride in guiding clients through every step of buying or selling. I was born and raised on a farm near North Bend, Nebraska, where I learned the value of hard work, honesty, and community—principles that still guide me today. After graduating from North Bend High School and attending Midland College in Fremont, I spent 14 years as a farm loan officer, helping local families build and sustain their operations. Since joining Don Peterson & Associates in 1979, and now with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Don Peterson & Associates, I’ve enjoyed helping buyers and sellers navigate real estate with confidence and care. With deep agricultural roots, I specialize in farms, acreages, and rural properties, along with homes in town. My wife, Mary, and I have two married children and five wonderful grandchildren. We’ve been blessed to raise our family here, and I’m proud to continue serving the communities I’ve always called home.

I’m a down-to-earth small-town girl living in Tekamah with my husband, Jason. We raised three amazing kids (and too many labradoodles!) and now enjoy grandbabies, sports, and family time. I love connecting with people and being part of my community.

My family and I have proudly called Fremont home for over 10 years, and my passion for community service continues to guide my life and career. I’ve had the privilege of serving on the boards of several local organizations, including Sinai Lutheran Church, Rebuilding Together Platte Valley East, Fremont Kiwanis Club, Fremont Creative Collective, Teammates, and the Fremont Housing Agency. I also serve as a Fremont City Council member.

I bring my passion for education and community service to my work as a real estate agent. After a fulfilling career as a middle school band director in Fremont, NE, I transitioned to real estate in 2019 and have enjoyed great success. As an educator, I held leadership roles including past president of the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association, Phi Beta Mu, and Nebraska Czechs Inc., and was honored with the “Donald A. Lentz Outstanding Bandmaster Award.” I am also co-founder and President of the Czech Culture & Education Foundation of Nebraska.

Now with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Don Peterson & Associates, I apply the same dedication, leadership, and organizational skills to guide clients through successful real estate transactions. Outside of work, my wife Debbie and I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with our children and grandchildren.
